Jose graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas School of Law, where he was recognized for his exceptional academic performance and dedication to the law. Jose serves as adjunct professor at his alma matter where he teaches Evidence to future attorneys. This experience not only allows Jose to help the next generation of litigators, but helps him stay current with the changing legal landscape.

Prior to entering private practice, Jose clerked for a federal appellate judge in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. During his time there, he gained valuable insights into the workings of the court system and honed his legal and writing skills, preparing him for a successful career in personal injury law. 

In addition to his experience clerking for a federal appellate judge, Jose also worked for several years at a trial defense firm. During his time there, he gained invaluable experience in defending clients against personal injury claims, giving him a unique perspective on how insurance companies and defense attorneys operate. 

This experience also provided him with a deep understanding of the strategies and tactics used by defense attorneys, which he now uses to his clients’ advantage in his personal injury practice.
