With more than two decades of service protecting the South Florida community, Mr. Bello has built a reputation grounded in integrity, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to public safety—qualities that now define his approach as a personal injury attorney.

 

A twenty-two-year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Mr. Bello rose through the ranks to become a Major within the Homeland Security Bureau, one of the department’s most critical leadership positions. Throughout his distinguished law enforcement career, he served in some of the agency’s most demanding and high-profile assignments, including the Narcotics Bureau Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT), the Robbery Intervention Detail (RID), the Gang Street Section, and the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force. He also commanded the Special Response Team (SRT), the Priority Response Team (PRT), and served as Lieutenant in the Homeland Security Bureau’s Intelligence & Investigations Section.

 

Mr. Bello’s leadership experience extends far beyond traditional policing. He co-authored the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Mass Casualty Attack Plan, which continues to guide active shooter response protocols today. He also helped develop advanced tactical training programs currently used by MDPD and played a key role in creating the Priority Response Team—an 81-member full-time tactical unit designed to respond rapidly to critical incidents and active threats throughout Miami-Dade County. As SRT Commander, he became known for modernizing training standards and integrating performance psychology and mental resilience techniques into elite tactical operations.

 

In 2019, while continuing his public service career, Mr. Bello earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law and transitioned his passion for protecting others into the legal profession. He later served as an adjunct professor teaching Cybercrimes Law and Criminal Procedure, further demonstrating his depth of legal knowledge and commitment to education and leadership development. He also holds a master’s degree in Performance Psychology with a concentration in leadership.

 

Today, Attorney Bello focuses his legal practice on personal injury litigation, with particular emphasis on negligent security and premises liability cases. His unique background gives clients a powerful advantage in cases involving inadequate security, violent criminal acts, catastrophic injuries, trucking accidents, and preventable acts of negligence. Having previously defended complex claims involving death and serious bodily injury, Mr. Bello understands how insurance companies, corporations, and defense teams evaluate and litigate these cases—knowledge he now uses to aggressively advocate for injury victims and their families.
